To follow up on the previous post... all right, sure, let's go down this rabbit hole some more.

Several of Youtube embeds behind cut )

I'm sure there are other recent Trump-related Cornette videos that I missed, but it's time to claw my way back up out of the rabbit hole now and go to bed.
kane_magus: (Default)

This is the first Jim Cornette podcast clip (from back in August) that I've listened to in good long while, and it's one of the saddest things I've heard in a good long while.

Context: Travis Heckel was the thumbnail artist for the Jim Cornette Experience for many years. He was friends with both Jim and Brian Last for many years. At some point, Travis Heckel apparently decided that it was a good idea to start posting incredibly asinine and ludicrously looney Trumpanzee dogshit on social media. At some point after that, Jim Cornette found out about it. Travis Heckel decided that posting MAGAt insanity on the Internet was apparently more important to him than continuing to work for Jim Cornette (as in, Heckel chose to quit rather than to stop being a fucking jackass). As such, Travis Heckel no longer works for Jim Cornette. This video explains the whole thing, at least from the perspective of Jim Cornette and Brian Last, anyway. (And, honestly, I don't give a flying fuck about what Travis Heckel's perspective on the matter may be at this point, because fuck him.)

Also, in this clip, Jim Cornette is, to put it mildly, as characteristically unkind toward the current President as he ever has been, which was nice to hear. The sad part was that they talked about Travis Heckel almost as if he was a victim of some terminal disease, more than a villain or, you know, just some stupid dipshit saying stupid dipshit things, which is... probably not entirely inaccurate, to be charitable. The RWNJ lie-manufacturing apparatus has had a very long time to corrupt people, way before Trump ever came down that goddamned golden escalator, and it's still running to this day at excess capacity, after all.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with Donald Trump and with those in charge of maintaining the perpetual RWNJ lie-spewing machine that inflicts brainrot in people like, apparently, Travis Heckel, and the sooner the better, as usual.

Fuck Donald Trump.

A fucking goddamned criminal, who just so happened to also be elected to the office of POTUS, should not have unconditional power to pardon his criminal co-conspirators who were directly acting on his behalf.

I'm not saying to just do away with Presidential pardon powers, altogether, I'm saying there should be some way to nullify or otherwise undo them after the fact, or at the very least some sort of oversight more than none at all whatsoever.

But then, who would be doing the oversight in this case? Congress? Full of Trumpanzees. The Supreme Court? Stacked by Trump in Trump's favor. So... even if there was a way to hold Trump accountable for this travesty of justice, nobody currently in power would actually do it.

And in any case, we'd have to fucking amend the Constitution itself to fix this, and good the fuck luck with that. But really, just a simple addendum of "a President cannot issue pardons in case of crimes directly related to the President himself" (fixed up with the appropriate legalese and to eliminate any potential loopholes) would probably fix the obvious problem.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with Donald Trump and with Rudy Giuliani and those other 76 shitbags who were doing crimes on behalf of criminal Donald Trump.

"Hi. In today's episode, we talk about the killing of Charlie Kirk, the right-wing response, and if it's still possible for anyone to 'practice politics the right way.'"

1:33:37 long. Whew.

Lots of text behind cut )

Fuck, god, shit, well... unrelated to any of the above... be warned: sudden Warmbo jumpscare at the ass-fucking end of the video. Man, how I loathe Warmbo. Warmbo has X-Pac Heat with me.

"Hi. In today's episode of Even More News, Katy, Cody and Jonathan discuss the tragic mass shootings that occurred over the weekend, Donald Trump's National Presidential Security Measure - 7 which labels most non-MAGA beliefs to be a gateway to domestic terrorism, and they get into the James Comey's indictment."

Yeah, mass shootings have become so routine now that MAGAts have a ready-made plan to simply make use of them to vilify the left, even if the shooter may have had nothing whatsoever to do with the left and everything to do with their own "side."

Nice "hmm" when Jonathan was reading that list and got to the "support for the overthrow of the United States government" bullet point.

...

Re: the "Department of War," I'm just still waiting for the Department of Justice to be more accurately renamed to the "Department of Vengeance."

...

Heh, they mention that whole "Am I watching things on television that are different from what's happening?" thing, too.

Yeah, all of this, every single goddamned bit of it, is nothing but manufactured bullshit, engineered specifically so that idiots who do absolutely nothing but sit around and consume RWNJ "media" all day can see all this bullshit and say "Yeah, that's our guy, our tough president!"

...

And speaking of the "Department of Vengeance."

*weary goddamned motherfucking sigh*

Okay, look, every time someone blames Comey as "the guy who may have helped Trump become president last time"/"the guy who won him the election" (and repeats it again later), I feel the need to bring up the True Pundit Hoax (here for reference) yet again. Like, I don't give much of a shit about James Comey himself, per se.[1] But I don't think Comey should be blamed (or, at least, solely blamed or even mostly blamed) for doing the thing he was essentially blackmailed by Trumplandia into doing, because if he hadn't done it... well... no, I guess I can't say that things would have ended up worse, because the worst still happened, regardless: Trump was elected in 2016.

And of course, all of that is predicated upon the belief that Seth Abramson is not entirely full of shit, and based on my prior following of him[2], he was rather credible. He would consistently report on things back in 2015 and 2016 that it would take the mainstream media six months to a year or more to pick up on. Not that any of that shit mattered, in the end, because Trump still got elected. Twice.

But even if none of that was true, even if Comey really did twirl his figurative mustache like Snidely Whiplash and decide all on his own to "put his thumb on the scales" and win the election for Trump, it's still wrong for Trump to have him (or anyone else) targeted for (unrelated) frivolous indictments like this, just because he's one of delusional Trump's perceived enemies.

...

I do appreciate Jonathon's self correction.

[1] - And I agree with Cody that Trump's mooks are going after Comey first because, indeed, "the left" doesn't care about Comey, given that "Comey is the guy who got Trump elected last time" so fuck him or whatever. They're going first after guys like Comey that "the left" doesn't care about in order to "normalize" this whole thing, rather than starting with, like, Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton or whoever.

[2] - Back in the days before I completely nuked my Twitter卐 account, after which I essentially stopped following him in the same way that I stopped following everyone on Twitter卐, nor have I started refollowing him on Bluesky or Threads or Substack or any of the other places he moved to after apparently abandoning the trashfire that is Twitter卐, since I don't have accounts on those sites either, nor do I plan to make accounts on those sites just for him.

"Hi. Today we're looking at a few news stories from the past month we haven't yet been able to cover. One thing they all have in common: The Trump administration is going full boar [you heard us!] with their authoritarian takeover."

Never dismiss as mere stupidity that which is indeed actively malicious.

Even if it is also pants-on-head stupid.

A post on The Daily Cartoonist.

It's basically a continuation of the theme of the previous post, as stated in the first paragraph of the new post, though with a bit of focus on RFK Jr. than just on Trump himself this time.

The comparison of RFK Jr. to President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho of Idiocracy is a grievous insult to President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho of Idiocracy. At least Camacho actually picked the guy who did, in fact, fix the problem at hand, rather than explicitly making things worse by being an assbackwards know-nothing hack like RFK Jr. is.

And via the comments, this plop of absurd bullshit. The gist of Mike Johnson's incredibly dumbshit claim: Trump was an informant for the FBI who helped to bring down Epstein. In actual reality, though, Trump is not the enemy to pedophile rapists that this goofy claim makes him out to be (because Donald J. Trump is almost certainly a pedophile rapist himself). In any case, it's as ridiculous and full of shit and completely made up as QAnon.

A post on The Daily Cartoonist.

Also, yesterday's CSotD post from The Daily Cartoonist, because I missed it.

(I leave it as an exercise to the reader to decipher which tag below is associated with which post there.)

A post on The Daily Cartoonist.

Another one full of Trumpish dumbfuckery, as per usual. The current new (to me) thing is some dumbshit about Trump wanting a golden ballroom installed in the White House? The asinine banality of that is so Trump.

"Hi. Donald Trump sure is acting weird about his old friend Jeffrey Epstein, isn't he? Why would he be acting this way? Let's look into that."

And here is the promised episode about Jeffrey Epstein, the wealthy child sex trafficker with connections to powerful and high profile individuals including multiple presidents of the United States.

Man, my middle fingers were already tired from all the times Trump appeared on screen, but when they played those Bill O'Reilly clips from NewsNation where he was trying, in all seriousness, to claim that Epstein was tried and convicted under Biden and the host was like "Slow your roll, dawg, that's complete bullshit" (which, in fact, it was, obviously, because Epstein was convicted and fucking died under SCROTUS IMPOTUS Trump the First), my middle fingers had to go into overtime gesturing at the right side of my computer monitor. Seriously, how does Bill O'Reilly still have a job, at all? And that was around only the halfway point of the video.

"I don't know, it's just that for years people love to say that this time, Trump's base is finally going to turn on him, that this will be the final straw, but it's really hard to believe that when... he's been this way the entire time. Since the very start, he's been so clearly a grifter and a liar. And yet, there's still this chunk of people that seems unable to realize that very, very, very obvious thing about him. He's actually bewitched people. It's infuriating and a little frightening. For most sensible people, we see it. He's this sweaty used car salesman type with a bad fake tan and a long history of failures and lies. And not good lies. Every credible scandal involving him has been deflected simply by saying 'fAkE nEwS!1!1!' like a toddler or calling it a Democrat hoax. Everything is just one big hoax and conspiracy against him specifically. Stuff that existed decades before he was even running for president. And his base just accepted that lazy bullshit with total faith. Either because they like who he angers and hurts, or have completely deluded themselves. Maybe probably both. I don't know. So it really seems like this will just be rolled into the Russia Hoax and Comey stuff and all the other flimsy excuses he has given from the start."

And then I had to throw up the middle fingers again because they played another clip of Trump essentially saying exactly that, that it's just the "Jeffrey Epstein hoax," same as all the other "hoaxes" about him. He's is so (un)believably, banally full of shit that it's just wrath-inducing. The sooner this man is dead and gone, the better this world will be. There's just nothing else that can be said about Trump at this point. He needs to be gone, simple as that. At this point, I don't care how.

"Again, we all really want to think about this as a house of cards that will eventually topple, but I'm not so sure. Considering all the lazy lies he's gotten away with already, it's hard to think that anything will do it, because if Trump's rise has taught us anything, it's that America is a country of conspiracy theorists. We love them. The Internet no doubt made our love even stronger, but we've always been into it. UFOs, moon landing, JFK, X-Files stuff. This fundamental belief that there's some larger and more complex system behind the world around us. It really speaks to people. It makes our lives feel less chaotic. I don't mean to sound all Ricky Gervais, but I imagine it's similar to religion for people. And Trump has directly tapped into the most ravenous conspiracy freaks of them all. And in fact, his political success depends on them.

"See, here's the thing about conspiracy people. They don't really care about policy. They don't care about tariffs or immigration or healthcare. When you think lizard people exist, the nuance of the economy doesn't really thrill you. If you were to ask the more hardcore Dale Gribble type why they would vote for Trump, they're just going to say that it's because he'll expose the deep state. And sure, it's a spectrum. Not everyone is a hardcore conspiracy weirdo, and I bet there are people who are concerned about the deep state and policy. But for so many MAGA supporters, it appears to be extremely important to their identity that there is, in fact, a secret cabal of pedophile Democrats. And only Democrats, mind you. Because if there isn't... then why are they doing everything they're doing? How can you justify cutting off your loved ones, going all in on this one man? All the sacrifices you have to make to support Trump? Even in terms of policy, how do you justify cuts to Medicaid and FEMA and all the ways the country is getting worse, if you can't say well... at least he's going after the deep state? For a right wing conspiracy theorist, there's just too much riding on this. If Trump were to produce a grand list of Democrat pedophiles, if they all got hauled off to jail, then everything would have been worth it. Otherwise, they have spent a decade being continuously laughed at for nothing. All of the failures from the Trump administration would have been for nothing. They would have to contend with the idea that they were, in fact, tricked by a conman, while everyone around them told them they were being tricked by a conman. It is so important to them that this is true, that Democrats, and again, only Democrats, are secret Satan-loving pedophiles who have been running a campaign of hoaxes against Donald Trump, the brave hero single-handedly fighting back. That's the only way you can justify something like storming the Capitol, right?"

And... then Cody went into a long-winded metaphor involving one of the final episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine that was kind of sort of relevant, but also probably didn't make much sense if you hadn't seen the episodes in question. (For what it's worth, at least Dukat had the excuse of being literally possessed by a demonic, god-like, alien entity at that point in the show [not that Dukat wasn't already an irredeemably evil shitbag even before that, pretty much from the start of the show]. What excuse does Donald fucking Trump have in real life?) And then they showed a clip from a completely different two parter (even though Cody said it was a clip from "that" episode that he'd just talked about, which it wasn't), which is also disturbingly, depressingly relevant to current events, despite being released over 30 years ago. Not that those same issues weren't a thing back then, too, as Cody pointed out. It's just that it progressed from then to the logical conclusion now, is all.

Seriously, the entire latter half of this episode of Some More News is way more about the abject stupidity and gullibility of people who believe unfounded, outlandish, ludicrous conspiracy theories (which often are being used to cover up way darker shit) than it is specifically about the Epstein shit. And it's all, mostly, to explain why Donald Trump is almost assuredly going to get away with this, same as how he's so far de facto gotten away with every other vile, evil thing he's ever done in his life.

Oh, and Cody also goes into a long-winded explanation of The X-Files and how it, too, is relevant to this discussion of the Epstein files and conspiracy bullshit in general.

Hmm... maybe that (i.e. Trump's reliance on conspiracy theory culture) is why Trump seems to be starting to turn against his master, Putin. Trump now seems to think that even whatever heinous kompromat that Putin obviously has on Trump no longer holds whatever power that it once did, because even if Putin were to literally distribute the infamous (and almost assuredly completely real) "pee tape," Trump can just wave his hands, say it's an AI Democrat hoax or whatever, and call it a day, knowing with total confidence that his dupes and sycophants will believe what he says over the evidence of their own eyes. And after that, what power would Putin really have over Trump anymore, at that point, despite Trump having had Putin's arm shoved up his asshole, controlling him for the last entire decade, at the very least, until now? I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that Putin obviously did everything in his considerable power to get Trump elected (both times), or that Trump seems to be increasingly biting the hand that fed him up till now? What's the more horrible reality? A completely Putin-manipulated and Putin-sycophantic Trump? Or a completely unhinged and delusional Trump who possibly feels free to do whatever the fuck he wants now, and Putin, his voter base, America as a whole, and the rest of the world be damned?

"The truth is... it's somewhere. Truth good. Truth is... it's over yonder. The truth is... out there. Yeah, yeah, as in, like, it's, like, gone. Like the truth is way out there. We're never getting that back. *aghast, depressed sigh*"

So, that was a 1:12:26 long video that takes all that time to basically say that Trump is, indeed, almost certainly, assuredly a pedophile rapist who shouldn't be POTUS right now, but who will very likely get away with being a pedophile rapist and will remain being the POTUS. It's another one of those "the people willing to watch this already knew that, of course, and the people who really need to watch this and be convinced by this won't watch this or be convinced by this, because they'll just dismiss the whole thing out of hand as LIEbrul BS, because they've been primed and conditioned by the GQP lie-spewing machinery for the past three or four decades to do just that" type things.

Yeah, I want everyone involved in the Epstein shit behind bars (to be charitably merciful). Not just Trump. And certainly not everyone but Trump. My expectation that that will ever actually happen realistically hovers around nil, zilch, nada, and zero.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with Donald Trump and to everyone who still believes even a single foul lie that spews forth from his lipsface anus on a daily basis, as usual, and to hell with anyone else not named Donald John Trump who was involved in any capacity with Jeffrey Epstein's pedophile island (and who aren't already dead and in hell, either figuratively or literally, like Jeffrey Epstein himself probably).
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. Today we're looking at right-wing lies. But not the banner headline, 'They’re Eating The Dogs'-type lies, but the under-the-radar, insidious lies told by chuds like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Matt Walsh, and Elon Musk."

But... there are so many. And this video is only an hour long?

"...either stupid or a liar..." I mean, to be fair, they can be both. Stupid people can believe that other people are also stupid enough to believe their lies, after all. And in too many cases, those stupid people are actually right about all the other stupid people who do indeed believe their lies.
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. We've got a long road ahead until (at least?) 2029. Today we explore how Democrats are resisting Donald Trump's authoritarian surge and what individuals can do on the local level to help their communities."

Just gonna go ahead and put the "middle-finger-worthy" tag on this one, based solely on the thumbnail showing an image of co-Presidents Musk and Trump gladhanding each other. Now to actually start watching the video.

Okay, so like the first quarter or so of the video is Cody just correctly and appropriately shitting all over the Democrats for doing practically nothing whatsoever of any worth to slow down Trump, other than lawsuits (which, let's be real, will just be tossed out when they reach the Trump-stacked Supreme Court[1]). Basically, Cody is figuratively shitting on Democrat politicians for not literally shitting on the floor of Congress in protest of Trump. The Democrat Party, collectively, is pretty much just sitting around saying "but I am le tired," without even actually "firing z missiles," right now. Worse than that, they're effectively bending over and spreading their ass cheeks for all the "missiles" being fired by the Trumpublicans.

The next section of the video is suggestions for what the rest of us mere mortals can do in the face of this surging tide of rancid dinosaur shit.

Also, quite a bit about Phony Stark and his Department of Obnoxious Memelords and what people are doing to oppose him, both in and outside of government. That said, I don't see how "tethering Elon Musk to the Republican Party" (which, I mean, he's already done, himself, with their full blessing up to now) is going to accomplish much, considering how tethering fucking Dumbshit Jackass Trump himself to the Republican Party has accomplished exactly jack, squat, and shit all, and has, in fact, been counterproductive to any attempt to censure the GQP for their horrendous malfeasance, since it just makes them circle the wagons and double down on their nonsensical adherence to Trump. Still, protesting Tesla because of Elon Musk's rampant dickholery certainly isn't a bad thing, in and of itself. (Aside from the bullet holes through windows and setting fire to recharging stations. I mean, I guess. Like, really, no matter how much you may hate Elron Mustard and his inane Cybertrucks and the fact that he's literally, indisputably a Nazi, maybe don't shoot up Tesla dealerships and set shit on fire, okay?)

Hey, whoa, it turns out at least a small few Democrats actually are doing more than nothing at all, barely. Good on them.

Man, this video almost makes me wish I were less misanthropic and less a/anti/whatever-social and actually cared even the tiniest bit about "coming together with other people." Well, I mean, outside of posting these blog entries into the ethereal void on a semi-regular basis, I guess. *shrug*

(Also, this was yet another video in which it was simply Cody sitting and talking to a camera for the whole video, without any puppets or whatever. The only thing that could be called a dumb skit was the creamed corn crap at the start and his followup little "I gotta go take a shit now" thing at the end. [Beware of the sudden PlutoTV jumpscare at the ass-end of the video, though; I've never before hit the stop button on a Youtube video faster than I did there.])

[1] - Except, maybe possibly, in the most utterly extreme cases, like when Trump is actively ignoring the orders of federal judges and is improperly calling for the impeachment of federal judges, which is a thing about which even Chief Justice John Roberts took a dim view, imagine that. I won't be holding my breath on that, though. (EDIT) Nope, they bent right over for him in that scenario as well. (/EDIT)
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. Donald Trump's relentless executive orders and illegal slashing of federal funding are already hurting Americans, including his own voters."

No Warmbo, no finger puppets, no "evil Katy jumping in via a video call" or whatever, no corn slop dripping from the ceiling, no time travel, no multiple versions of Cody, none of that shit in this video. Just Cody Johnston sitting in front of a camera for an hour and twenty minutes (minus however much time the ad breaks wasted, since I skipped past those, as I always do). The only "bit" in this video was Cody refraining from saying any swear words at all, until the final minute or two of the video.

I wish all SMN videos were like this. (Aside from, perhaps, the no swearing thing, because as he proved by almost breaking that no-swear rule at several points during the video, a lot of the goddamned fucking dumbshit that Trump and Elon and their criminal co-conspirators are currently doing can only be adequately described with the involvement of intense profanity.)

(EDIT) Oh, right, I didn't note it at the time as I was watching the video, but JD Vance was apparently a person who benefited from DEI. How about that. (And, no, that wasn't a JD Vance/Peter Thiel joke.) (/EDIT)

(EDIT 2) Just a reminder that, seriously, Trump has not been in office for even a full fucking month yet. (/EDIT 2)
kane_magus: (Default)

"John Oliver discusses the first four weeks of Donald Trump's second term as president, the strategy behind some of the choices his administration has made and why it is indeed fuck time. You heard us: It's fuck time."

"Who is that child?" John Oliver asks. The correct answer, which Mr. Oliver didn't state, is that the child is Elon Musk's very own little meat shield. It's one way in which Elon Musk also has a similarity to Greg Stillson, same as Trump. (EDIT) And I just learned today that the kid's so-called name is, and I shit you not, "X Æ A-Xii."[1] Poor damned kid. I don't give a shit if he's the son of ThE rIcHeSt MaN iN tHe WoRlD or whatever, he's still a poor damned kid. (/EDIT)

And yeah, that song is pretty great. (Alternative link.)

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell with Donald Trump (and Elon Musk) forever, as usual. (I fully agree with Mr. Oliver in that it really isn't the case that "we have to fuck Trump," and that's why I prefer to use "to hell with" instead of "fuck" in cases like these, nowadays. I still appreciate those who do (properly) use "fuck" in that way, though.)

(EDIT)

[1] - Apparently, his name was originally "X Æ A-12," but they had to rename him to "X Æ A-Xii," because having non-alphabetic characters in one's name is against the law in California. So... why was the "Æ" allowed to stay, then? Because there's technically no "Æ" character in the English alphabet, either. Go figure.

(/EDIT)
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. Now that Trump is president... again... we're going to look at how he and his party are always focused on problems that aren't really problems (DEI, immigrants, and censorship) instead of problems that are (climate-enhanced wildfires, oligarchy, and actual censorship)."

One of the comments under the video: "So is this sense of unreality what Germans circa 1933 felt?" I would say... maybe? Probably. The difference is that we should have goddamn known better, this time. Doubly so, given that we've already endured a hellish four years with Trump as the President of the United States of America before the current, likely way more hellish four years still to come of Trump as the President of the United States of America. It's not going to be great, and we're going to be trying to repair the damage caused by 2025-2029, for much, much longer than just those four years, like how we're still trying to repair the damage caused by 2017-2021 even now. Well, some of us are trying to repair the damage, anyway. Too many of us are actively, maliciously trying to cause the world to burn (both figuratively and literally).

So anyway, yeah, this is an almost hour long video pointing out all the finding out that's happening as a result of all the fucking around that happened in November 2024.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell with Donald Trump forever, as usual.

(Beware: Warmbo is in the video. Not a lot, but still... a little bit of Warmbo goes a very, very long way.)
kane_magus: (Default)
Didn't take long, did it. Some are more shocked and surprised about all this than others. Too many vile asshats are far too pleased than the rest of us, of course. I'm mostly just starting to feel morbid, defensive, hardcore apathy settling in, already, and it's only just been a day or two. And I know for a fact that I haven't seen anything close to all the horrors coming out in the news, because I have been trying my level best to ignore it all as best as I can. Haven't been completely successful, though, obviously. What little I have seen has already been way more than enough.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell with Donald Trump forever, as usual.
kane_magus: (Default)

"Hi. Well, we're doing this again.... I guess. So, let's ask the tough question: are Americans just plain stupid for electing Donald Trump?"

The gist of the above video:
  1. Voters in general = ignorant and gullible and inattentive and very checked out of politics on the whole (because politics, granted, is indeed very fucking banal and insane and enraging), but not necessarily full on stupid, and as such it almost, almost makes sense that more of them voted for the loud, obnoxious, brazen liar/con man/criminal who claims he very definitely has real, true, totally legitimate plans to Fix Everything™ instead of for the establishment bozos who appeared (to ignorant, gullible, inattentive, very checked out eyes) to have been, at best, keeping everything bad or, at worst, actively making everything worse, in large part because the loud, obnoxious, brazen liar/con man/criminal repeatedly, incessantly said they were.
  2. Democrats (specifically Democratic politicians) = very definitely stupid, for myriad reasons.
  3. Liberals (extended from Democrats and distinct from progressives [and mainly referring to vapid talking heads on the ol' boob tube and the not so ol' social media]) = apparently secretly racist, sexist, transphobic, MAGA-lite shitbags all along, who don't have a clue what they're talking about, because now they're apparently trying to blame "special interest groups" (like, you know, immigrants and trans people and Palestinians) instead of their namby pamby, wishy washy, milquetoast, "trying to please everybody but actually pleasing nobody" candidates (e.g. Biden and Harris, see point #2), even though said politicians didn't even really do all the "bad" stuff that the pundits are claiming cost them the election (e.g. "bad" stuff like "caring too much about" immigrants and trans people and Palestinians). Let's just say pants-on-head stupid and leave it at that, I guess.
  4. Republicans (specifically, the vile, self-centered, hypocritical asshats who knew and continue to know that Trump is eminently terrible and have explicitly said so in the past, but who now pretend to adore the taste of Trumpian dingleberries) = vile, self-centered, hypocritical asshats who slurp the shit on Trump's ass hair either out of cowardly fear of reprisal, out of the hope that Trump can directly benefit them at the expense of everyone else, and/or out of petty, hateful revenge for racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, etc. very stupid reasons.
  5. Some More News (both the creators and the fans of the show): could and should and need to do better.
  6. In conclusion: We, all of us, even those who voted for Trump, are almost assuredly about to be properly super fucked by Trump and his incoming administration of utter clowns (with apologies to clowns for the unfair comparison), and we need to be prepared for the consequences of that, despite the fact that this is a thing that was easily predicted and long foreshadowed due to the very words that have come out of the face-anuses of Donald Trump and those who disingenuously support Donald Trump. We're all in this together, whether we like it or not.
kane_magus: (Default)
*wearing goddamn motherfucking sigh*

Because of course they are. It's like they think that a man becoming POTUS somehow completely absolves him of any crimes he has definitely committed or will somehow disable him from definitely committing more crimes. It is absurd.

Once again, Trump deserves (at best) a rest-of-his-life prison sentence, not the fucking Presidency again.
